THIS IS THE BEST STORY FROM THIS MOVIE. I know there aren’t any English subtitles, but you honestly don’t even need them to get the gist of what’s going on. WATCH IT

  9. Le plan de féminisation de la FFF en route ! →

Ok this is pretty cool. We all know women’s soccer takes a backseat to the men more often than not. Even in places like France where those who watch women’s soccer know their women’s national team is AMAZING and that they have a couple of pretty good club teams (Lyon, PSG, Montpellier).

I like that their plan to expand women’s football isn’t confined to the players, but also includes administrators, coaches, refs, etc., and a new regional training center. I know they have a women’s version of Clairfontaine in France, but a new version is always good since I’m pretty sure the program is a lot smaller than what they offer for the boys/men.

Sure, it’s a small step but at least they’re taking it. They probably know that in order to be the best in Europe, they have to do what Germany does in terms of youth and national development and that’s exactly what the plan is.
